Today I’m offering another free printable baby shower game  This game sheet can be downloaded by clicking HERE.  It will bring up a word document that you can save and then print.  (two game sheets per page).

This is my mom’s absolute favorite baby shower game.  Whenever we go to a baby shower, she always arrives with her purse full of anything she could grab on her way out the door.

Team your guests up into groups of 2 or 3, depending on how many guests you have.  (you could also play this individually).

Give each team a copy of the “What’s in Mommy’s Purse” printable.

Each team goes through their purses finding the objects listed on the game sheet.  They will check off anything they have, but only one check per team.  So if two people on a team both have one of the items, it only gets checked off once.

At the end of the allotted time, have your teams tally their points.  The team with the most points wins!

Baby Shower Guests….C’mon Down!  You are the next contestants on The Price Is Right! (Baby Shower Style)

Is there anyone that has never seen at least one episode of the famous show, “The Price is Right”?  No?  I didn’t think so.  Bring this familiar game show to your next baby shower with our free printable:  The Price is Right, Baby Style. Before the shower,  purchase the 10 items on the game card:

• 1 pkg of baby diapers
• 1 jar of baby food
• 1 bottle of baby lotion
• 1 box of baby wipes
• 1 bottle of baby powder
• 1 baby bottle
• 1 pacifier
• 1 onesie
• 1 box of 100 Q-tips
• 1 tube of Desitin ointment

On a small card, write down the name of the item and its retail price and place in an envelope. (one card per item).

Place all the items in a row on a long table.  Place each item’s price card in front of the item (price hidden from the guests)

Ask your guests to view the items and write, on their card, their guess of the retail price.  They should try to guess the closest correct price, without going over.

Once your guests have recorded all their guesses, it’s time to play The Price is Right, Baby Shower Style.   Using your best Bob Barker impersonation, announce each item and reveal its correct price.  Hand that card to the guest that guessed the closest without going over.  When the prices of all 10 items have been revealed, the player with the most cards wins a prize!  The mom-to-be gets to keep the items.

*If there is a tie, the one that has the closest total price will win.

Variations:

1. Instead of handing a card out for each item, you can reveal the price then the total and give a prize to the person who has the closest total.
2. Give out a prize to the guest that has the most cards AND the player with the closest total.
