When planning a party, “Don’t equate the dollar amount you spend with guaranteed success. Better planning and doing your homework makes more of a difference than spending a certain amount of money.”
Two major complaints from people planning a party or event is the time and money involved. It is true that both are needed to plan a one of kind event, but we can help you keep both to a minimum by planning ahead. We suggest that you begin to plan your party or event at least 6-8 weeks before the day. Why?
You will be able to divide the needed arrangements into small blocks spread out over a long period of time. This prevents that party planning overload just a day or two, or even the day of, the event.
Planning ahead of time and creating lists and agendas help you organize your thoughts so that all important aspects of your party planning are covered. This will reduce a lot of stress later on.
When you plan ahead of time, you will have the time to shop for bargains, rather than being forced to pay full price the day before the event. Shop around and order things online whenever possible. Check out your grocery stores sale flyers and buy needed food items while they are on sale.
When the day arrives, you will feel confident that everything is exactly as it should be and will have time to relax, greet, and mingle with your guests.
In order to help you plan for your event, we have created a Party Planning Check List/Timeline for you at Party Planning Check List Grab a clip board, print out the list and keep it close as you begin to prepare a party or event that your friends will remember for a long time.
